Horrible Injustice!

My goal for this blog is to keep it happy and cheerful, and make us all remember why we love our bullies. There are plenty of blogs and websites that focus on the bad, that I want focus on the good, but I must speak about this horrible injustice.

Meet Angel


Angel is an American Bulldog/American Pit Bull Terrier mix, and he's a bonafide HERO! Angel saved a woman and her son from a knife wielding attacker.

A man approached the woman and her son while they were leaving the park. He pulled a knife on them and the woman screamed. That's when Angel the stray, heard her cries, sprung into action and scared the would be attacker away.

In her panic the woman rushed her son in the car. Angel jumped in as well and stayed with them until police arrived. The woman called him her guardian angel, and so named him Angel. She then sent her hero away with animal control to a high kill animal shelter stating if no one claimed him, she would take him. She lied.

Our hero was on death row and scheduled for euthanasia in 10 days. People who wanted to adopt Angel didn't because they assumed the woman he saved wanted him. Our hero was despairing in jail waiting for his own hero to come.

Thankfully the good people at M.A.R.S-Midwest Animal Rescue Service, came to his rescue. What is so tragic is that our hero is still there.
